The BHCD Board has approved sponsorship of “Native Gardens of Blue Hill,” a local group of gardeners (horticulturalists?) focused on creating publicly accessible gardens using native Maine plants.

The forum was attended by roughly 65 participants.

It outlines what is contemplated by the Initiative, plans for funding the work and status of the Initiative’s efforts to raise the requisite funds for pre-application engineering work and for the “local contribution” portion of the Maine state grant program.
