The “Blue Hill Cares” annual spring clean-up, organized by Vaughn Leach and Chrissy Allen, has been a tremendous success over the last few years.
While virtually 100% of the effort is entirely volunteer-based, there is a need for some equipment for clean-up and safety. BHCD has agreed to act as fiscal sponsor for this community effort, so that donors of cash or goods for qualifying activities can be eligible for a charitable deduction on their income taxes.
If you are in a position to contribute some safety equipment or want to support the cleanup with a monetary contribution, please contact Vaughn or Chrissy directly, or through BHCD at info@bhcd.org.
