Caragana or Siberian Peashrub
(Caragana arborescens)

Introduced from Siberia and Manchuria.. Produces yellow flowers in spring. Non-edible seedpods. Fine leafed. High pH and drought tolerant. Extremely hardy and long-lived. Major windbreak species.

Crown Height - 6 to 14 feet
Crown Width - 6 to 12 feet

Root System - Dense, spreading.

Does not do well on very wet or dry sandy soils.
