Russian-olive

Small tree, sometimes referred to as a large shrub. Tolerates saline/alkaline soils. May invade unmanaged bottomlands and moist pastures. Thorny. Silver leaves. Native to southeastern Europe and Asia.

Root System -Fibrous

Drought resistant. Does not withstand ponding.
